20º Congresso da European Sleep Research Society (ESRS)
A Associação Portuguesa de Sono (APSono) será o anfitrião do 20º Congresso da European Sleep Research Society (ESRS). Agendado para dias 14, 15, 16, 17 e 18 de Setembro de 2010, o evento vai realizar-se no Pavilhão Atlântico, em Lisboa.
No site do Congresso, a Professora Teresa Paiva, da Comissão Organizadora local, elucida um pouco sobre o trabalho desenvolvido por esta Sociedade Europeia e o seu papel na promoção de ligações profícuas entre a pesquisa do Sono e a Medicina do Sono:
The European Sleep Research Society is an international scientific non-profit organisation and promotes all aspects of sleep research and sleep medicine.
It hosts individual researchers, both Europeans and from all world regions. Furthermore SRS hosts the Assembly of National Sleep Societies from all European countries, allowing a most interactive link between Sleep research and Sleep Medicine.
ESRS is responsible for the publication of the Journal of Sleep Research, the organisation of scientific meetings, and the promotion of education and training, the dissemination of information, and the establishment of fellowships and awards.
